A: This bracket is only used in cowl mount applications, but it is not the only cowl mount bracket. The correct installation kit to used is based on the make model and year of the vehicle.

A: This is the left (United States Driver Side) installation kit for a 1966 Ford F100. It should be used to mount a spotlight with a P length shaft through the cowl of the truck.
