Q:
what makes these lights vehicle specific? is it the diameter of the shaft, length? angles? what i am trying to get at is, do you guarantee fitment of this product to specific vehicles? I have a 1994 Ford BRONOCO XLT and i am looking for an LED spotlight. do you carry one for my truck?

A:
In the case of your vehicle it is the length of the shaft and the angle and shape of the mounting bracket that makes it specific to vehicle. Some vehicles need more specialized spotlights that have set controls on rotation, special sweated bushings, and different gearing.
Our applications for out spotlights have been tested and approved by our application engineers and have had success in the field. If correct parts are used and installation instructions followed the lights will fit the vehicle. If for any reason you are unhappy with the product we do accept returns.
For your vehicle the LED spotlight would be either 335V Chrome LED Spotlight or 335V-0002 Black LED Spotlight mounted with a 27 installation kit for driver side or 27RH for passenger side.

V Length Spotlight Shaft:
7 1/2" Exposed Shaft and 13" Center to Center
Exposed Shaft: The amount of tubing visible between the head housing and the handle housing when the spotlight is assembled.
Center to Center: The distance between where the gears mesh in the handle and where the gears mesh in the head when the spotlight is assembled.
*This listing is for any vehicle that uses a light with the listed shaft length. Not all vehicles can use all variations of spotlights. 340 Series HID Spotlights can only be used on applications with "Location" of "POST" or "INSIDE POST". Some vehicles can only use 5" spotlights or have other application specific details.
