Q:
Does the 263 install kit mount on the outside or inside of the "a" post? Is it necessary to notch the door on a 2015 Silverado 2500HD? I noticed that the door does not extend all the way to the windshield. Thank you

A:
The bracket is mounted on the outside of the vehicle. For the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500-3500 there is no need for a door notch.
