High quality, perfect fit
I needed a spot light mount for my barn find project cop car. It had been in storage for 33 years and was missing its spotlight. I found a period correct light, Unity of course, and ordered the #27 mount kit for my 81 Malibu 9C1. The kit arrived promptly and fit the original mount holes perfectly. I do recommend these folks and yes, they are made in USA!

Q:
I am trying to install a spotlight in my 1986 Ford Bronco... I think I read the chart correctly but want to make sure! It says that I need part# 225GM-H for the spotlight and part# 27 for my installation kit. Can someone please let me know if these are the correct items that I am looking for??? Thank You!

- 9/22/2015
A:
27 installation kit is correct for the driver side of 1986 Ford Bronco. For passenger side 27RH is needed. 225GM-H will work with your vehicle or any spotlight with a "GM" length shaft.

Q:
Will this work for a 2011 Ford Ranger?
Asked by:
Questioner
- 3/21/2016
A:
No, a 2011 Ford Ranger should use a 29RH installation kit for driver side or 29 installation kit for passenger side. This should be used to mount a spotlight with a "H" length shaft.

Q:
Is 27 the correct installation kit for the driver's side of a 1990 Bronco (identical with 1990 F150)?
Asked by:
DSTT
- 5/13/2016
A:
27 installation kit is correct for driver side of a 1990 Bronco. 27RH should be used for passenger side. They should be used to mount a spotlight with a "GM" length shaft ( 9" exposed shaft* and 14 1/2" center to center**)
A 1990 Bronco II would use a 29 installation kit on driver side and 29RH on passenger side with a spotlight with a "V" length shaft (7 1/2" exposed shaft* and 13" center to center**)
Exposed shaft – the amount of tubing visible between the head housing and handle housing when the spotlight is assembled.
Center to center – the distance between where the gears mesh in the handle and where the gears mesh in the head when the spotlight is assembled.

When special ordering out of stock items with a lead time 27, 27rh, what is typically the wait time? thanks
Asked by:
mike

A:
Lead time will vary depending on when item is ordered. Right now we estimate about a one week lead time on 27 and 27rh but that does not account for disruptions from the Holidays.

Q:
I own a 1990 Ford F-250 Pickup and am searching for a drivers post Spotlight or installation kit. Is there any resources to obtain either of these items?
Asked by:
gar thornton
- 5/8/2022
A:
For the spotlight part, any spotlight with a GM length shaft will work, but unfortunately you would need a 27 installation kit to mount it and they are no longer available. Your best bet would be looking for the kit being resold on somewhere like ebay.
