400/500 Series Vintage 6" Roadlights Pair Model F1
PAR 46 foglights available in 12 volt or 6 volt and in clear or amber with raised ornament; chrome finish. Comes with switch, wiring, instructions and mounting brackets. 6 volt lights come with two B Brackets and 12 volt lights come with two 9929 brackets.
Great for restoring classic cars! These lights have been made the same way since the 1940s!

Have a set that are 6v and want to install on a 12v system What do i need to do?

A:
There are two options: We have heard of customers running 6 volt line from 12 volt system, but do not know how this is done. Or the lamps on the lights can be switched out. Putting 12 volt lamps in the housing would convert them to 12 volt. U-4412 is replacement clear lamp and U-4412A is the replacement amber lamp for 12 volt.

I am restoring a vintage cadillac ambulance and would like to mount 2 of the 6" lights on the front bumper. Are red lamps available?

A:
Red lamps are no longer available. They were discontinued by our supplier. The lamps we used had a lens where the glass was dyed red. The only alternatives we have found used painted glass. We have not had good experiences with painted lamps as they tend to peel. These lights use PAR46 sized lamps.

No, we no longer have the tan or brown rotary switch and now supply a black rocker switch, with relay, wire, terminals and inline fuse holder.

This light is only setup for single filament lamp. They are available as single units, part number is 300C-U

Hi, I ordered a pair of these through amazon and got them, put them on and one is crystal clear while the other is slightly yellow, not amber. What is causing this? Can it be fixed or do I need to return the set through amazon? I would much rather have the lights, they're great but look awful with mismatched colours. James

The clear lamps used in this light are made of glass and should not yellow. I can't think of any reason for this issue. Could you please email pictures to

Hi I am looking at a pair of 300/400series Vintage 6’ Roadlights Do you freight parts to overseas? As my home is in Victoria, Australia. would you have any idea about the freight cost? These lights are made to order, after an order is place what’s the time frame for delivery. Thanking Lee Gallagher

A:
We do ship internationally and have customers in Australia. Production time right now is around two weeks for the lights to be built and leave the factory. Once they leave there is so much that is out of our control and can change in international shipping that we cannot give a good estimate of in transit time. Tracking information will be provided when the order ships and the carrier will be able to provide better updates than we can. For shipping costs I can only run a rough estimate without a specific address. For a random address I chose in Melbourne, shipping estimate is $72.25 from USPS Priority International.
