Mr.
The shaft came well protected and with everything I nneded to do the installation. After attempting to use old parts that I tried to make work, it was a pleasure to have everything go together as it is designed. 1965 B Model Mack Firetruck

Q:
Will this include the gear shaft and interlocking gears in the compartment or no?

A:
Shaft & headpost assemblies include all shaft parts needed to function so that just a handle assembly and head assembly need to be attached. They include outer chrome tube, intermediate tube, internal rod and gear, bushing (as appropriate to shaft), head housing, and headpost gear assembly in the head housing. (head housing is the chrome piece that connects the shaft to the head of the light.)
