385-0002 6" dia. LED Rooflight, 30 watt, Black

Question

Q: We purchased 2 each 385R-002 385r-0002 6" led Roof light-shorty sport lights for use on our SAR boat(order # UMC-9649) We have one installed and see that it is too short to aim directly in front of the boat. What can we do to gain another 3-4" in height? We are holding off installing the second light until we hear from you for a possible solution.

You will need a combination of a new longer shaft for each light and then spacers to raise the head of the light higher up from the bracket.

We will need to know how a long a shaft you think you need.

For reference a shorty uses a R length shaft which is 2 3/4" exposed shaft and 8 1/4" center to center.

For spacers we have 1/2" long, 1" long, 1 1/2" long and 1 15/16" long. Multiple spacers can be used together to increase height.
