Q:
I have several S-3 lights. Do you have an outlet for G-E 1327 bulbs? Please advise. Also, what was the years of manufacture of the S-3 lights? Just very, very curious. Thank you!!

A:
Model S-3 Safety Light was made between 1939 and 1944. We do not have any GE 1327 bulbs. According to a parts list from the time, Mazda 1209 bulb was used in S-3 safety light. There is also still make a model S-3 worklight for Peterbilt, but it is not the same as the S-3 Safety light and uses sealed beam lamps instead.

Q:
I have three Unity mfg. co. fog lights that are marked S-3 and have red lens marked 9165. I would appreciate any information you could give me on these vintage lights and are they rare or valuable and what years they were produced?

A:
We do not have much on the light. It is roughly from the 1930s before sealed beam lamps took over. They are rare. We do not keep track of market value of discontinued parts and do not have any idea on value.
