Q: What is the diameter? Is item returnable if it doesn't fit? Will it fit a 1941 Packard w/spotlight? Thanks

A: This is a PAR46 lamp and will fit in PAR 46 6" diameter housings. If you need a lamp PAR 35 5" diameter housings the part is U-4515. We do accept returns. Fitting the Packard would depend on what model spotlight is installed on it. Without knowing the model we cannot be sure. We use it in model S6 vintage spotlight, but it may fit in other models.

Q: Can you remove/reinstall the lens of this bulb if you want to add an accessory bulb cover/cap in the middle?

A: Unfortunately you cannot. It is a glass sealed beam lamp and the lens is fused to the reflector.
