If this is the replacement handle for the Ford Interceptor Utility what are the two different wedges for? Does one of the wedges work better than the other. Thanks

A:
Yes, this is the correct handle for the Ford Police Interceptor Utility. It only comes with the flat wedge and screw, which are correct for this vehicle. The photo is a "stock" photo - we do not have a photo of every version of handle.

We have a Ford Utility PI in need of a new handle assembly. What is the difference between the U-6701-0290 and the U-6701-0101? Can I order the 0101 as a direct replacement?

A:
U-6701-0290 has mating wiring for what Ford puts in the Utility. U-6701-0101 is standard spotlight handle with a bullet terminal on the end. For the Interceptor Utility either handle will work, but the sedan does have a special handle.

HI Will this handle fit on a Model-H1.It is now on a 1955 Ford Crown Victoria. I looked up the parts i need like 6450-FM,6405, but can't seem to find part number 122.If this hole unit would fit i would just order it? Thank You Allan

This handle is a replacement handle for factory installed spotlights on current model Ford Explorer/Police Interceptor Utility. It will technically fit, but We would recommend going with U-6701-0001 handle which has the 6450-FM grip already on it. Or going with our standard replacement handle U-6701-0101.
122 is a driver side installation kit. It is not used on 1955 Ford

All recent handles have been switched over to U-8597-A Toggle and U-8596 Switch Cap
