want to purchase a spot light and need to make sure to get the correct installation kit. is it 189??

A: 189 is correct for 2003 F350. It should be used to mount a spotlight with a V length shaft on the driver side door. 189RH should be used for passenger side.

A: For a 2011 Ford F250 we recommend a spotlight with a "V" length shaft mounted with a 189 installation kit on driver side or 189RH on passenger side.

Q:I am installing a 335PL-2000 /189 KIT on a 2016 F150 FORD Pick up.
The installation sheet only list F250 and larger Ford Trucks. Do I use the drill illustration for the F250?

Q:unity 340A-189 Does this fit left side post of 2005 kia spectra?

A: No. Our application engineers have determined that a post mount style spotlight should not be installed on a 2005 Kia Spectra. The light would interfere with deployment of air curtain. As this is a safety issue we do not have a application for this vehicle. A 390 rooflight could be used instead. It is rooflight version of the 340. Instead of being mounted through the A pillar the light is instead mounted through the roof. It comes with universal mounting bracket for flat roof.

Q:Have a set of vintage Unity Model H1 - want to install on 1953 Chev Truck - what please show us the right hardware?

A: 1953 Chevrolet Pickup would use a 25 installation kit for driver side or 25RH installation kit for passenger side. The spotlight needs to have a B length shaft for proper installation. Replacement B length shaft is 3615-B-5

Q:Need to install spotlight on drivers side 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 4-door pickup truck. Application shows use 189 kit and 8447 template. Does the chrome casting in the kit go on the inside or outside of the vehicle? The template is not clear as to where exactly it should position and almost seems like it is printed for the opposite side post, or the outside on the drivers side. Can you provide clear photos of this installation?

A: 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 the bracket is installed on the outside of the vehicle on the A Pillar. All applications listed as "Post" have the bracket installed on the outside of the vehicle. Applications listed as "Inside Post" have the bracket installed inside of the vehicle.
