A: No, for a 1966 Ford F100 a 153 installation kit should be used for driver side or a 153RH installation kit should be used for passenger side. They should be used to mount a spotlight with a P length shaft through the cowl of the truck.

Q: I've got a 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door sedan. I used the application search and came up with spotlight model 225GM-U-I and mounting bracket #199 for the drivers side. Are these correct & what shaft length is required?

A: 1965 Ford Fairlane uses a spotlight with a P length shaft mounted with a 162 installation kit for driver side.
