Q: Does this go through the pillar or the door? Do you have pics of on installed? Application is an 01 Dodge Ram. thank you

A: This goes through the pillar with the bracket mounted inside the vehicle and a notch cut into the door the spotlight comes out through. We do not have picture. We do not recommend using this application. It is very hard installation.

We recommend the door mount installation. it uses a 229 installation kit for driver side and 229RH installation kit for passenger side to mount a spotlight with a GM length shaft. This is a much easier and more common application for the 2001 Ram 1500-3500.
