259 Installation Kit

Question

Q: I have just installed this kit on a 2016 Interceptor UV and there is a gap between the Mount and the Applique (even with the gasket removed). I just happen to have another 2016 Interceptor UV that has the same spotlight but it was installed at Ford and it has a molded gasket that goes between the mount and the Applique that did not come with any of the 3 kits I ordered and is not pictured in your photo and I do not see it on your installation parts page. Shouldn't that come with this kit? If not, what is the part number so that I can get 3 to make these spotlight installs look correct.

Q: I am replacing the trim alongside the windshield on a 2015 Ford Police Utility (Explorer)with factory mounted Unity LED spots. I need to cut new holes in the trim, can you email me the correct templates to remount the spot lights? Thanks, Chris

Q: One of my customers' PI Utilities had to have the windshield replaced and as a result, we have to re-cut new trim pieces for the spot-light. Can you send me the instructions? I have a template, but having trouble getting everything back together after making the cuts.

A: The gasket is cosmetic and does not provide any additional value. Ford owns the tool and as a result we are not able to sell it without their permission. They did not give Unity permission to sell them.

380 Rooflight comes with its own installation kit for mounting it vertically through the roof of the vehicle.

If you are looking for a side roof mount for the 2015 M2, you would need a 330CL spotlight and a 248RH installation kit for driver side.
