We do not have a measure of the diameter of the barrel, but it is designed to fit a .119" pin. That converts to a pin of just over 3 mm

If the vehicle was purchased with the light installed at the Ford factory it comes with the barrel terminal. Direct replacement bulb is U-H3-100W-B.

Lights purchased from anywhere else come with the spade terminal and direct replacement is U-H3-100W, this is a standard 100 watt H3 spot bulb.

We use the standard bulb for ease of replacement. Ford requested to have the barrel terminal instead so we cut the spade terminal off and add the barrel.

To make the standard spade bulb work with the light, wire U-7735 can be used. The spade terminal plugs into one end and barrel terminal is one the other end.
