Q:
according to the california dmv CVC spotlights on a private car can not exceed 32 candle power I own a p71 crown vic with spotlights and was wanting to know if the 100 watt halogen blubs can be replaced with other blubs that do not exceed 32 candle power?

A:
We do not have any bulbs that meet that candlepower, but your light could be switched to U-4435 lamp which would work under that standard. NOTE: This standard uses a different type of candlepower measurement than we do. We test our lights to SAE standard for candlepower, the version the standard uses a version that is closer to how watts are measured in a incandescent bulb or lamp (does not work for HID or LED)
